All of our wedding bands are made to order making them totally unique to each couple. Whether it be a timeless plain band, or something that incorporates a sentimental design, we can help you find the perfect option. Below are some basic aspects to consider before creating your design.
D-shape band - The profile of this band, as the name suggests, has a distinctive 'D' shape, domed appearance. With a flat internal edge its overall finish is soft.
Flat band - The prominent flat edges between the bands surfaces makes the 'flat'one of the simplest styles.
Court band - This is a classic band shape that works for many styles. It's arced inner and outer surfaces offers maximum comfort.
Flat Court - This has a modern aesthetic but with its rounded inside edges ensures a comfortable long term wear.
Width + weight
The width of a ring, directly refers to how the expanse it covers on your finger. We start as 2mm for wedding bands, as any slimmer tends not to be as durable long term, and we go all the to 6mm plus.
Metals + finishes
Platinum, 18 carat yellow, white or rose gold and Palladium are the three standard types of metals that we use for wedding bands. Each have their own properties, and it is important to pick something that works alongside your lifestyle. All of our wedding bands are made to order which allows you to customize width, depth, and finishes. Whether you alter the texture, or set a stone or add and engraving to the surface, we can make it personal and unique to you.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WED-FIT + FITTED BANDS?
Wed-fit refers to to your engagement ring setting. If it is high enough to allow a band to lay flush against the shank is it wed-fit, if your setting does not allow this, which can be very common with antique rings, we may suggest a fitted band option.
A fitted band means we look at the contour of your engagement ring setting and form a band that curves around that. Making each band sit flush against one another.
